Middle East & Caribbean

The Middle East generally has a hot, arid climate, especially in the Peninsula and Egyptian regions. Several major rivers providing irrigation to support agriculture in limited areas here such as the Nile Delta in Egypt, the Tigris and Euphrates watersheds of Mesopotamia, and most of what is known as the Fertile Crescent. Conversely the Levantine coast and most of Turkey have more temperate, oceanic and wetter climates.

The Caribbean is a region of the Americas that consists of the Caribbean Sea, its islands some surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and some bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean  and the surrounding coasts. The region is southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America and north of South America islets, reefs and cays.
