Several major rivers providing irrigation to support agriculture in limited areas here such as the Nile Delta in Egypt, the Tigris and Euphrates watersheds of Mesopotamia, and most of what is known as the Fertile Crescent. Conversely the Levantine coast and most of Turkey have more temperate, oceanic and wetter climates.<\/p><p>The\u00a0Caribbean is a region of the Americas\u00a0that consists of the\u00a0Caribbean Sea, its islands some surrounded by the Caribbean Sea<sup id=\"cite_ref-8\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup> and some bordering both the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean \u00a0and the surrounding coasts.
